Accomplished:

1. "TEAM PLAYER" in obtaining the largest grant $1.3 million to build a Trident Technical College on St George Campus.

2. In DNR committee, voted to enforce the "Atlantic Compact Treaty".

3. Highway signs for Woodland HS and Dorchester Academy at off ramps of I-95.

4. Naming I-95, Exit 77 interchange in honor of John Tye Heath Hill ("Tye Hill", Clemson football player onto the Professionals).

5. Endorsed on naming I-26 Harleyville interchange in memory of our Sheriff Deputy.

Supports:      

1. Stronger educational procedures in addressing changes in the state law .

2. Eliminate PACT to put SC on same playing field as other states.

Addressing:

Addressing the congestion on Butternut, Orangeburg, Central roads with SCDOT.  A light at Central and Butternut.

  Patsy made great strides in the Dorchester County Treasurer's Office to serve taxpayers from July 1, 1981 to December 2, 2006

Patsy was responsible in getting a satellite office in Summerville

Patsy promoted better technology to serve taxpayers

Patsy was the advocate and offered the taxpayers the ability to pay via credit cards in Oct 2003 with no cost to the county

Patsy was first in SC 46 counties state wide to issue vehicle registration, decal and tax receipts to taxpayers......

Patsy was responsible in making history in Dorchester County

PATSY'S LEADERSHIP AND WORK was helpful in reducing those DMV lines

Patsy served as SCAC (South Carolina Association of Counties) Treasurer since 1986 and as a Executive Board Member until elected to SC House District #97, NOv 7, 2006

Patsy served many years on the SCATT (South Carolina Auditors, Treasurers, Tax Collectors) and SCAC legislature committees working with the SC State Houses looking out for the taxpayers back home

                         SCATT fought and won the increase in SC Homestead From  $25,000 to $50,000

PATSY SERVED ALL THE PEOPLE OF DORCHESTER COUNTY WITH HER DEDICATION IN BEING A PUBLIC SERVANT
